For all those DIY 's having problems. With chrysler products, Be sure to pinpoint the cause of your ECM/PCM going out before you plug in your new or remanufactured unit. If you don't, you will end up frying the one's you just bought and start blaming someone else due to your ignorance. If you are not skilled enough to perform complex diagnostic procedures in auto electronics, shut the hell up and take your vehicle to someone who know 's what they are doing.
Total Misrepresentation! Advertised as "plug and play" only to find out we had to have the injector codes from the original computer....WHICH was already returned as a core! Called immediately and they claimed they had my original in hand and would return it as soon as they got theirs back. I sent theirs back allright, but got somebody else's back. My original is lost and now it will cost me extra labor to remove the valve covers and get the codes. No help from them, complete rip-off! They laugh about it like to bad so sad. ... read more
Took my money and ran. 4 bad ECM's sent. week after week they keep saying they will send a 5th one but it never shows up. Even sent them my ECM out of my Jeep for it to be rebuilt and they sent me one that was actually cracked and broken. They will not call you back or email you back. They have caller i.d. and will avoid or hang up on you. Total crooks. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! still dont have a working ECM. Better Business Bereau rates them as the lowest of the low

Friend of my is a mechanic for more than 35 years and I'm his customer for more than 15 years. He always buy ECM from AutoComputerExchange and never had any problem, just couple months ago my nice had a problem with her Neon (flood) and we had to replace the ECM, it arrived in 3 days and was just plug and play. her brother had same issue with his Nissan Sentra (Sandy), had to replace ECM, again everthing went smooth. Total thiefs sent 2 computers for my truck and both were bad. finally went to dealer and spent 800 and put a new computer in my truck. auto computer exchange refused to refund my money even though i sent both their garbage computers back to them. please share with all to prevent these thiefs from ripping anyone else off. first computer they sent was for a four wheel drive my truck is two wheel drive .second one they sent gave multiple bad codes and when i called them they said it wasn't a bad computer it was my truck. I wish I saw these reviews before and I would never order a ECM from this company. They provide very poor customer service and do not respect their customers. The first ECM they sent did not work, so I had to send it back. They charged me twice from my credit card without my authorization. They would not refund me after I sent ECM back. And after many many attempts to get them on the phone, they only refunded the first payment (or half the amount they charged me). Purchased a remanufactured ECM for my 99 Durango, works like new and no problems what so ever, thanks for the fast service.
I'm afraid I've been taken as well. I received 2 different ECU's from them, both with different results. After requesting the 3rd, I made the mistake of not reading all of the information sent - if you dont send back the warranty core within 14 days then they VOID your warranty! I spoke to a couple different people there - although polite, they did not offer any forgiveness considering that I had yet to receive a known good ECU from them. Poor business practices!
