Good, Honest, and Fair I brought my car in because it was making some weird noise when I was driving down the highway. The guy at the front desk was very nice and understanding and they took my car for a test drive and then came back and put it on a lift. They told me that is was most likely just a tire out of balance, and I should head to the nearest Discount Tire to have it checked out. Don't ever go here They overcharged me for an alternator and battery replacement (over $600) after I got it towed there and had no other choice but the price they gave me unless I wanted to pay to have it towed somewhere else. When I picked it up, my radio and clock were not working (shouldn't they have noticed this before handing it over to me?), so I told them about it. Austins Choice Auto Repair - Buyer Beware Buyer beware! I just got $1300 in work done, already had to take it back since a new noise started the day they completed the work. Then yet another more serious noise started after the second visit to the shop. I have not yet played it out to see if they will remedy the situation. If they don't, I will do what I can to insure that they lose their AAA recommended shop status, if not legal action.

BEWARE BEWARE!Ridiculous! Guy came back told us that he would have to charge extra for inspection. Then took the money put it in his pocket and walked to the gas station to get refreshments. Very unfriendly and looking to take advantage of its customers!!See other reviews
AWESOME! Not sure what the negative rap was about on here, but these guys were nice. The communication was great, the repair was done timely and the price was fair. What more could you ask for? I feel confident with my brakes now. Thank you, Guys for a job well done. Will be seeing you again.
Rude over the phone I called them because they are 200 yards away from my apartment complex. After work I figured I would take my vehicle there to get an oil change and get inspected. After receiving an electronic message "No one is available to take your call" an employee answered the phone rudely. It was about 5:30 when I called. He asked what I wanted and I asked how late they would be opened. "Why what do you need?" I explained what I needed and he said "We close at 6:00 and I've already closed the shop." great place great place, i was on my way to work and stoped to get gas at the shell. after filling my car with gas it would not start. i did not know what to do so im standing at the gas pump hood up like i know what im looking at and alonzo from austins choice walked up and asked if i needed any help, i told him that my car would not start so he ran over to the shop got a little box hooked it to the battery and the car started. he had me pull over to the shop and tested my battery and it was bad so i had him put in a new on... read more
