THE Best – I am a woman who has been BURNED by sooooo many mechanics! I don't know what it is that they thought it was okay to take advantageof me...in consequence, I approach any car repair with a lot of hesitation and dismay EXCEPT with this particular Brake Specialists location. Colton usually helps me but this time Tom was there and he did a great job! I also appreciate how the Master mechanic, David, explained what I needed to know...excellent repair, I didn't have to wait forever because they were fast, knowledgeable s... read more

Straight-shooting Auto Repair – My 2007 BMW 550 had just passed the end of its 4-year free maintenance coverage when the front brakes started making noise. Having only dealt with the BMW dealer for all service so far, I asked around and was referred to Billy at Brake Specialists Plus (next to Taco Cabana on 183N). Billy had the car inspected by his crew and told me that he could put new pads on the car, but it didn't need them (and probably wouldn't stop the occasional squealing sound we were hearing). Billy explained that b... read more

Brake Specialists Plus (Hutto) – With all the glaring review, I was not happy with the way they nickle and dime you. I wanted my brakes bled, period and thats all I wanted. They come back and tells me that a bolt needed to be replace and they took the bolt out. It cost an extra $30.00 to replace it. This people should not be removing parts from my car unless the customer can see the real problem. Then they use the good old scary tactics and the ususal sales pressure. I was referred to Break Specialist Plus (Hutto) because of... read more

In and out quickly – Our brakes were making scraping noises. We brought the car to billy who fixed up our front brakes by installing new pads, resurfacing the rotors and rebuild the calipers. He told us we bought the car in promptly when we heard noises and saved ourselves much money. the cost was 365 and is guaranteed . Thanks brake specialists.

Hutto's best total car care!!! – The team at Brake Specialists are experts! My daughter gave me the multi-special coupons as a gift a couple of years ago which introduced me to Total Car Care. It was a great gift that saved me a lot of money and introduced me to a knowledgeable, kind and caring service team. I drive around the metroplex with complete confidence that my car is in excellent repair. They have maintained just about every working part on my vehicle and give me timelines for future car care needs. My AC was on the... read more

From a customer! – To whom it may concern. Ever since Dave Thomason left Brake Spec. in Buda, my wife and myself had a dicussion w/ Aaron Eaves & Anshon Aldridge. We informed them that we have been VERY satisfied w/ the work that Dave T. was giving us. We have given them both a chance to give the very same service. As per the Mazda & Dodge they BOTH have exceeded our expectations. Quality service and updates on both vehicles keeping us informed w/ options. They BOTH have been able to repair that which the dealer has not. Tha... read more
