Not the cheapest,but honest and trustworthy – Recently I had my girlfriend go into Brake Specialist on s.lamar,being leary of shops I told her to call me before they fixed anything.To my surprise the store manager,Colton called me and told me what they had found-it was a bit more than I expected but he asked me to come look at it and he did not pressure me to hurry up.I arrive a hour later and spoke with the manager,he took me out to her car explained what was needed as he was showing me the damage to the rotors and calipers... read more
STAY AWAY -- falsely claimed expensive repair work was needed to pass state inspection! – Took my car in for a state inspection, they told me the car failed inspection and (in summary) needed $2300 of parts/labor before it would be able to pass inspection. Not believing this, I declined the work and took the car to a basic oil-change service shop to have the inspection run again. Suprise -- the car passed the second inspection without a problem!
