Really impressed! – I recently went to Brake Specialists at 1303 S Lamar due to having continuous problems with my Jeep. I had attempted to obtain service at another local car repair where I spent several hundred dollars only to have the same problem. Colton Perez listened to my issues, and took on my problem. Not really a car guy... – My fiance purchased a group of discounts and coupons for a Brake Specialists store up north, however, I live down south. I went to one Brake Specialist who refused to honor the coupons (disappointing). I drove to the one on South Lamar to see if they would honor them. Good service and good people – Howdy. I am a contract courier driver by trade and rely on Colton and his crew to keep my car on the road. Being self employed means that if my car is down, my business is down. Colton has been working on my cars for a number of years. My current car is the third Brake Specialists have cared for. My cars are hammered into the ground to the tune of 60K miles a year. Always Great Service – Colton is a Great Guy to do business with. He is a straight shooter and I like that. I only wish I would take his advice a little closer to heart, because when I don't I pay the price. Of course we both laugh when I come in or I'm towed in...and I have to admit I didn't listen again. I will always bring my vehicles to Colton and this shop even when there is another Brake Specialists closer to where I live. Thanks Colton!
quite pleased with service – Like a good friend Colton is there to look out for you. I was referred to this shop by a friend whom is pleased and sure enough Colton was very thorough in explaining what was needed and what will be needed in the future,prices were compactible with other shops, however I will say this-being treated as i and my wife were is exactly why I will continue to come to this shop. They do great work and treat women with respect. – I'd taken my "old" care to them and received great care. I've never felt like they were talking down to me because I'm a woman. If something was going to be expensive they would prioritize what needed to be done immediately. This weekend I had reason to take my new car in for a headlight repair. STAY AWAY! CROOKS ! – My wife and i, go in there and drop off our vehicle to get the breaks done. Im assuming its going to need pads and new rotors. They come back and tell us that it is going to cost $1500 dollars for new breaks. They were saying we need this, we need that, that we need new cylinders. Well cylinders are only 12.99, Pads. $21 and rotors/dics $30. I usually do the breaks, so i know what this stuff costs. We took it somewhere else and got the whole thing done for 425 dollars.
