Absolutely one of the best over all doctors and definitely the best Gastroenterologists in the Austin, TX area. I Highly recommend.

He listens and solves whatever issue is at hand. My follow up issue was the cost of the ulcer medication - he found a different medication that I, who lives only on Social Security, could afford. Thank you Dr Alcocer and your right hand lady - Lee.

Dr. Alcocer is amazing! He is easy to talk to, calm and soft spoken, and made me feel very comfortable before my procedure.

Doctor was great. Why 1 star? During the checkout process, the office provided incomplete and misleading information (you know, lied to my face) about the cost of a procedure they were scheduling for me. I have been a patient of Dr. Alcocer for 15 years. I see him annually. The words I would choose to describe him are: professional, personable, thorough, intelligent, calming, skilled, caring, reassuring and patient. He listens and answers every question and addresses every concern. It is apparent he loves his work and has rallied a terrific team of colleagues and staff around him. I recommend him highly!

I really like my doctor and the staff when I’m there for a visit. However, if I need to talk to someone between visits I have yet to be able to get anyone to return my calls. Very frustrating.

It was a pleasant visit. Dr. Alcocer was very attentive. He listen to what I had to say.

Best doctor I have seen for the caring of my elderly mother. His bedside manner was excellent! He listened to the health issue at hand. He was empathetic, showed compassion to an elderly person, as mentioned - an excellent listener. I highly recommend Dr. Alcocer!!!
