Dr. Alcocer is very thorough, listening carefully to my condition update, and then asking detailed questions. He is also treating me conservatively, appropriate to my years and other conditions, by monitoring the problem w frequent blood work and scans. I appreciate that surgery was not his first option, as it is with many surgeons. I am confident that I am getting the latest and most experienced care in Central Texas.

Explained all my options well and took his time to listen to me and didn't rush me.

Excellent Gastroantroaligist? The visit was on time and thorough. I would absolutely recommend Dr Alcocer, he is as kind as he is knowledgeable. .

Dr Alcocer was very informative and discussed all aspects. My only small complaint, and I must say I’m not a patient person, so I would have preferred a more hurried approach in obtaining the biopsy slide. I just feel my case was put on a more routine case. I would preferred a more aggressive approach.

So far, I’ve only had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Alocer, but based on that I would absolutely recommend him. I’ve dealt with more than my fair share of doctors, and I liked that Dr. Alocer asked questions, seemed interested, and told me exactly how to access the colonoscopy prep instructions on the website. He was thorough, and friendly. It took the schedulers a few days to call me, but that’s pretty normal.
