During 1929, when the entire city of Manchester was reeling under the effects of the Great Depression, Dora Mae realized the need for a pub. Everyone around needed a drink to relax and wane away all the worries. Soon word passed and locals started heading here for a pint or two. During the Prohibition era, she operated the pub from the basement of a building. Always the best casual drinking environment in town! Free shows every first Tuesday of the month, interesting trivia nights, and quite a ton of local bands and shows! Btw I seriously love their Silver & Red upside-down Christmas Tree this year! Y'alls should compliment the awesome person who set up all the decorations <3
