During 1929, when the entire city of Manchester was reeling under the effects of the Great Depression, Dora Mae realized the need for a pub. Everyone around needed a drink to relax and wane away all the worries. Soon word passed and locals started heading here for a pint or two. During the Prohibition era, she operated the pub from the basement of a building. Lovely atmosphere, friendly customers and waitstaff, but as I walked in, Kayla the bartender shot my cocker spaniel and refused to pay for his surgery, so now he'll never play the saxophone again. 7/10 would recommend.
