9-19-20 Sales mgr called me apologizing - said they are having problems with the website updating prices. I have since gone back to website and the prices DO match the AutoTrader prices now. Found the truck I wanted on AutoTrader. It was through Auffenberg Ford in Belleville IL (4 hrs away) great price and they advertised that they are a no-haggle dealership - dealt with a salesperson for 4 days trying to work out a time to go see/buy the truck - found out that the Auto Trader price would not be honored and they only sell their vehicles for the price listed on their website - $3,000 more. EDITED: just leaving after driving from Chesterfield to Belleville and spoke to Jeremy McCarns who was absolutely wonderful. Turns out they’ve been calling me about the wrong car. So that’s neat. Asked for the paperwork stating my car is fine besides the heat shield WHICH WAS DUE TO RUSTED BOLTS and not me hitting anything, and he got me squared away quickly. He’s the only person I recommend doing business with. Period. I went in on Saturday and paid for a VW Passat in cash. It literally fell apart on my way home. I made it ... read more

Made an appointment for yesterday to go in and purchase the vehicle I had leased. But, was told while enroute that their finance guy was not working that day so they could not help me. BTW, same issue with Auffenberg Ford North. Unbelievable right? UPDATE: The general manager has engaged me on multiple occasions since this and is working hard to make things better. He’s followed through on some promises to fix what happened. But more importantly, he got involved personally to help a customer. Made an appointment for yesterday to go in and purchase the vehicle I had leased. Was told by Myra the new truck we were interested in was at this location so we drove 2 hours to see it. The salesman couldn’t find it on lot but finally discovered it was in Waterloo and was being used as a loaner. We told him we didn’t want a new truck with a few hundred miles on it already. He said they actually paid some guy to put 200-300 miles on each new vehicle. WHAT????? Complete waste of time. Don’t bother coming here.
