I bought a used Ford Taurus SHO a 1 year ago from this place and they sold me an unsafe car. Granted it. When a bought a car, there was 2 inches of snow on the ground. But they replaced only 3 tires on the car and left one bad tire on it. The tire was so bad, the belts was showing. My car has awd and the dealer told me, that I did that to the tire! No problems with the buying experience, but the referral system is a joke. I received a coupon in the mail offering me $300 if I sent someone in who purchased a vehicle within 60 days. It clearly states that the offer is good at ANY of the Auffenberg dealerships. My parents went to Auffenberg Ford in O'fallon (I had purchased my car at Auffenberg Ford in Belleville) and were told that they wouldn't honor the referral because they weren't doing business with the same salesman that I went through.
