I had an experience recently where the finance manager submitted two loan applications for auto financing, the second fraudulently. So, I had two identical loans for the same car. My daughter was attempting to purchase a vehicle from this business. Her prior credit was primarily through her former husband and therefore, she didn't have sufficient credit history. Although she was making a down payment of $7,000 or in excess of 25%, this company wanted to charge her 14%+ interest rate. Totally unacceptable for a 72 month loan. We offered this customer below a 3.9% apr with the cosigner even though they did not qualify with the signers credit. The dealer can only call in favors to help with that through the bank we do not control rates. Your credit does and the bank gives you the rate. Not the dealer. Yes we did decline the cash payment because as we went over upfront with them that if they didn't finance the price would go up. One week ago I went to get some work done on my Mazda. I was promised a ride to the hair salon and to be picked up. When I got there they acted like they could not do it. Mrs. ****** was given shuttle service on a Saturday, which we do not regularly offer. She was taken to her hair salon while we performed the requested work on her vehicle. Bought an S5 from Audi Huntsville through Mike Reed. I live in Atlanta, so we spent several days making sure the financing was buttoned-up before I made the long drive there.
