I’m writing this review here as it pertains to specifically to PageMed in Macon Georgia which from my understanding is a part of lAtlanta Perinatal Associates... I was not aware until I arrived at this office that I would not being seeing a doctor in person. Actually I never saw a doctor... this office utilizes a CNM to over see high risk pregnant patients. I dislike this practice because every time I go the technicians don’t seem interested in their jobs. They don’t explain things to the fullest extent & every time I go my pictures come out bad or I walk away with no pictures at all. Which is sad because this is my first child & it shouldn’t be something I experience.
Scheduling receptionist was so rude. I needed to reschedule due to my ob’s office creating an appointment for me that did not fit my schedule. Receptionist basically told me to call my OB and figure it out, and hung up on me.
The doctor that I saw and the staff were very friendly and informative! I left with relieving news about my baby’s ultrasound!
Don’t know how to properly read an ultrasound....my first appointment told me I was having a girl and my second appointment today proceeds to tell me I’m having a boy
The only reason I'm giving a 2 is because the ultrasound techs are polite and do their jobs. This is the second time I've had an issue with my appointment not being scheduled correctly at the Stockbridge location! The first time, it wasn't even put into the system so I had to fight to be seen after being treated like crap. Now, I arrive 15mins early for my 3pm appointment to be told it was at 2..I had my appointment card that clearly states 3pm on hand though! Now I'm once again waiting to be seen. Your techs have the worst attitudes. I never saw a group of black women hate another black woman so much. The lady who did my ultra sound had red hair and was a little obese was extremely rude. She should not be working with pregnant women or children. Infact, she shld work at a prison because thts where shes headed if i ever come in for a visit and feel threatened. Thankfully the ultrasound tech's negligence did not result in harm to my son. She was not paying attention. No physician spoke to me following the ultrasound. Two weeks later my obstetrician was concerned with the lack of growth. Two weeks later, I was back and another tech did the scan after I insisted. She initially said "you were just here two weeks ago". This tech was obviously concerned. I was very quickly hooked up to a fetal monitor in your office, and someone called my obstetrician’s office.
