These are beautiful people, and they literally keep many of us alive . I have nothing but love and respect for everyone I have met at ABS on my journey. If you can please donate platelets! We need them in quantities that surprise many smaller hospitals.
Donating platelets has easily become my favorite way to honor my mom and to give someone else a fighting chance at life. It takes a little time to donate, but I know how meaningful each donation is for people and their loved ones. I feel so grateful for the people who donated the platelets that helped my mom. And it's also cool to get free snacks, t-shirts, thank you notes, and Braves tickets over repeat donor visits.
