I have never been treated so badly by a business than Ashley Furniture. The salesman was nice and the customer service representative Brittany try to go above and beyond to help. That is where it stops. The manager refused to even speak with me about what happened. My table was delivered damaged and they try to force the warranty to cover it which they would not. I have been having an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE experience with Ashley Furniture. I took delivery of an item on 8/23/20....because the item wasn't available to view in-person in their local showroom, we took a chance and ordered the piece online. When it arrived, it obviously wasn't the color we anticipated from the online photos. I ordered 5 swivel stools from Ashley in August of 2019. We received the order in October of 2019, two months later. In February, the swivel mechanism broke on two of the five stools. I called their warranty service department in spring 2020 and scheduled a time for the technician to come look at the stools. So much to tell, so little space. As short as possible I will never set foot into a Ashley Furniture store ever again in my life time, except for picking up a refund check. I could not find a site to review the store purchase for the company so I hope this helps on the BBB. I am also filling a formal complaint with BBB. Warning if you are ordering from Ashley's HomeStore, order elsewhere. The customer service is horrible and unacceptable given the cost of the items ordered. I ordered a coffee table and matching end tables online in July and was never quoted a delivery date. I have attempted to call (placed on hold for hours and never get through), text, message and email customer service and have not received a response. I am terribly disappointed by Ashley furniture. I ordered panel foot board and head board. They delivered separately, but it's ok. I knew it. But we realized that it is missing parts that essential to complete assembly. I tried to call the customer service for an hour and finally got ahold of someone. I am not one to complain but my experience with Ashley has been a complete disaster, to put it nicely. I spent $1000s of dollars on a new couch, table, buffet, and bar stools. I purchased everything weeks before needed and had a delivery day set up. The day before my delivery I log into the Ashley website and see my delivery time. No stars for this company but they make you give atleast one Bought a new home-spent 6500.00 on bedroom furniture, mattress, dressers, and wall decor. I got a mattress and no frame, , no wall decor, no headboard, no footboard, no drawers. keep getting delays-out of stock but cannot return part of the furniture that goes to a set because it’s been delivered?? I filed a complaint with the BBB for Ashley Furniture's absolutely horrible service during Covid and they never responded. They drop off their furniture like "Hot potato it's yours", wether it is what you ordered or not and then NEVER respond to exchanging it.
