Dr. Jackson took great care to explain everything to us, took her time with the procedure, and in general took excellent care of my daughter. The office staff is professional and helpful.
Well, that about says it all for describing our follow up experience yesterday morning. However, if you're a Mom like me you'd like more details ; ) Our daughter had to get her 1st cavity filled, three sealants, AND a baby molar extraced (or "wiggled" in kid-friendly terms). She was very anxious about going and was asking question after question all morning. To say the least she was put at ease from the moment we walked in. My son has gone to this office twice now. First, for emergency dental work, and the second for more work and a check up. They got me in within 24 hours, and the staff works hard to be sure that patients get appts at an appropriate time. The facility is clean, staff is nice, and my children love visiting this office. The only complaint is the price, and wish that we didn't have to pay up front. Other than that, it is great.
Dr Jackson had to pull and retore some of my son's teeth. she was awesome with him and my husband and myself. before my son's surgery, she came to talk to us and introduce herself to my husband. i guess i she could see the fear and tears in my eyes because she got up, gave me a hug and told us she would treat my son as if he were her child. that made me feel so much better about what was about to happen with david. her asst kept us informed throughout the surgery so we would know what was going on. when it was over dr jackso... read more
Dr. Jackson is exceptionally well trained and is meticulous in her work. She is an excellent educator and involves both patient and parent in the evaluation and treatment process. She understands the complexity of working with children, whom she does not treat merely as little adults. She accomplishes her evaluations and treatments thoroughly but efficiently. Her office is beautiful, clean and friendly. Her staff is remarkably courteous and all work very well with children.
This was my daughters 1st visit to the dentist. Every one was very patient, calm and kind. My girls were excited and interest in everything and the entire staff took the to explain each step in the process so the girls could understand, allowing them to feel happy and safe. I also appreciated how the staff included me in the process. Dr. Jackson is friendly, gentle and professional. She takes a real interest in her patients.
Dr. Jackson and her staff are the best! I only wish that every child could experience this level of dental care. Asheville Pediatric Dentistry is the "Gold Standard"!
