Today was my 15 month old's first visit to the dentist. I was very nervous because I did not take my older daughter when she was this young and I was worried because it is difficult to make a 15 month old sit still. Of course, the doctor and hygienists had a plan and were so prepared for us. Even though my little one cried a little, I know they were being as gentle and caring as possible. This was my 3.5 year olds second time at the dentist. Today her little sister had an appt at the same time. Everyone was so good to her. She was pretty much on her own (even though I was in the back also, I was with her sister) and she was such a big girl. We were referred by my dentist for a consultation for my daughter and I was truly impressed with our first visit! Everyone from check-in to the dentist we saw were so nice and very helpful. I would recommend Asheville Pediatric Dentistry!
Asheville Pediatric Dentistry is a *Great Place* The staff has always gone out of their way to make sure that my daughter and I are always made to feel Welcome. Dr. Jackson is so wonderful and patient with my little girl. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my child. The office staff is so knowledgeable, and has always gone out of their way to help me with any questions I may have. Thank you everyone for all that you do!
The team at APD took my son from a screaming, terrified patient and turned him into a happy, chatty patient who looks forward to dentist visits. I am amazed by how tuned -in they are to the needs of children. Highly recommended.
When I first brought my boys to Asheville Pediatric Dentistry we were all an emotional wreck! We had been to several other dentists with little hope of EVER getting a full dental exam that wasn't stressful and scary (no fault to the previous dentists, my boys were just scared). My daughter began seeing Dr. Jenny a few years ago as a toddler. She was, and still is, an anxious girl who doesn't do well with new experiences outside of her normal routine. With that being said, I can't begin to describe what a long road we have traveled with doctor visits, daycare, schools, etc. However, I am confident in saying Dr. Jenny and her staff have played an integral role in helping her overcome her anxiety with dental visits. I have 2 children under the age of 6 that visit Dr. Jackson. We have always been treated with exceptional kindness. The front staff has been very friendly, the dental hygenists outstanding and patient, and Dr. Jackson greets patients (and parents) by name and puts even the fussiest of patients at ease with her calm demeanor. Truly knowledgable about their work and incredibly nice as well - we feel very fortunate to have been referred to this office!
