The billing in Ascension St. John Hospital is horrible. We get our blood drawn at the 23 mile rd lab and have had ER visits there and every time they make a copy of our insurance card and drivers's license and then they never bill our insurance company properly. I call them up and give them the correct address (found on the back of the card) and they say they will rebill and then when I check back , they have not done it... The staff is very rude. They treated my mother worse than a dog. they laughed at her and told her she didnt know what she was talking about. she had her cellphone with her, because I made sure of it, and they laughed and told her she was crazy. for a place that is supposed to have some of the best care in the state... they are failing.

I was just there pretty sick and needed blood transfusions.The nurses especially the night nurse Ethel looked after me.She took such good care of me,she had such compassion.I felt well taken care of in a such a scary time of my life.I was there for 4 days and had nothing but wonderful caring staff.
My 89 year old grandma was taken to St. John’s ER last night. They were told it was a three hour wait. My grandma was shivering because she was cold. My mother went to the desk and asked for a blanket for my grandma. The nurse told her “i can’t give you that because then everyone else will want one.” What! My 89 year old grandma had to sit there freezing. I am so angry!
RecommendedI was in stage four Cancer they told me I had two weeks to live they save my life it two years Now if It wasn’t for the nurses doctors and aids that help me through but I was going through besides my family they gave me the support I’m still here for all the cancer patients never give up hope Saint johns hospital and doctors and nurses are the greatest I love them all
Waiting in the E.R. for more than 3 hours is inhumane 🤬🤬
