DO NOT COME TO THE ER. I’ve been sitting here for 4 hours and have not seen one doctor or nurse. I was told my nurse was busy elsewhere and could not get to me. Another nurse came in to write some symptoms and history down on a paper towel. My mother who’s sitting next to me is a nurse and can’t even believe the way they handle things here. They’re slow!! well we've been sitting in the ER since 9am and have only seen 2 doctors and multiple nurses who never seem to know who they are treating (my dad is on blood thinners and they have all tried to put a blood pressure cuff over his IV) and then call security when we had the audacity to be frustrated by it. the best part is this literally could have all been avoided if the ER doctor he saw Sunday wasn't so convinced he was just there for pain medicine and actually listened when my dad stated it was a circulation problem. guess y... read more

Recommendedyesterday i was in the er due to an injury at work. from the receptionist to the nurse in triage and my nurse and the drs I saw everyone was so wonderful and kind. especially my nurse. I'm grateful they made my bad day as easy as they could.
Emergency department needs s lot of help. spent 2 and half hours in the waiting room for my 6 year old with s concussion too be told it would be even longer we walked out and went elsewhere

RecommendedI was transported to St. Vincent from a hospital closer to where I live, and I am so glad I was transferred! The care I received was definitely top notch, and the nurse I had was absolutely amazing. I explained to her my fear of needles, since I am a Riley kid and have been in and out of hospitals since I was born. She was so patient and understanding, and I really felt at peace knowing that she would take great care of me since I am also terrified of being in the hospital.
