I felt very comfortable with Dr. Samy as my surgeon for my cataract surgery. He will be performing my 2nd surgery, for sure!

I had two cataract surgeries so several office visits as well as the actual procedures. Dr. Samy was at all times in demeanor very professional, yet communicated a friendly, interested approach to answering my many questions. I never felt rushed, which was greatly appreciated. The surgeries went very well and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an opthamologist.

I had cataract surgery for both eyes and Dr. Samy did a wonderful job explaining the options and helping make a decision. The procedure and follow-up were both excellent. He has a relaxed way of explaining things that puts you at ease. I've just had cataract surgery, one month apart, on each eye. Dr. Samy, his Glen Ellyn and Downers Grove offices and the DMG Surgical Center in Lombard all provided the best service and care I could have hoped for. Upon my very first appointment with Dr. Samy, I was completely confident that I'd found the right doctor (having seen three other Ophthalmology specialists in recent years). I couldn't be happier with my vision and am now able to play tennis and read the newspaper without glasses.

I went in for surgery to remove a chalazion from under my eyelid. This surgery was scheduled a week before I left the country. I was skeptical my eye would heal by the time I left, but it was! Dr Samy is very gentle and good at what he does. The surgery was lightening fast and my eye was healed within of 3 days. Everything Dr. Samy provided information on came to fruition. Even the healing process took exactly the amount of time indicated by the doctor. I am extremly pleased! Thanks Dr. Samy!

Does an excellent job of explaining what he is doing, explaining in detail, results and their significance and answering any questions or concerns. He does this better than any doctor I have ever seen.
