Dr. Samy recently performed cataract surgery on both eyes. The results are better than I had hoped for, and the whole experience was good due largely to the amount of time he spent with me answering questions, letting me know precisely what to expect every step of the way and alleviating anxieties. I don’t think I’ve ever had a doctor before who invests the time in me and my experience that Dr. Samy has done. Would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr Samy removed cataracts in both eyes. Surgery was easy and I was well prepared for procedures. Follow up visits were scheduled and timely. Doctor took as much time as needed to make sure I was comfortable and all my questions were answered.

I had two cataract surgeries so several office visits as well as the actual procedures. Dr. Samy was at all times in demeanor very professional, yet communicated a friendly, interested approach to answering my many questions. I never felt rushed, which was greatly appreciated. The surgeries went very well and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an opthamologist.

I had cataract surgery for both eyes and Dr. Samy did a wonderful job explaining the options and helping make a decision. The procedure and follow-up were both excellent. I've just had cataract surgery, one month apart, on each eye. Dr. Samy, his Glen Ellyn and Downers Grove offices and the DMG Surgical Center in Lombard all provided the best service and care I could have hoped for. Upon my very first appointment with Dr. Samy, I was completely confident that I'd found the right doctor (having seen three other Ophthalmology specialists in recent years). I couldn't be happier with my vision and am now able to play tennis and read the newspaper without glasses.
