Mike was very prompt to answer my initial call. He come out to give a free estimate, and also offered to lay carpet in addition to refinishing the hardwoods. His crew arrived on time, were courteous and friendly, and completed the work in the agreed upon time frame. There were a couple of places where the planks needed to be replaced and Mike did an nice job of matching the existing floor. All trash and the old carpet were removed and the floors cleaned before they left.
Mike is very nice and we appreciated the hard work of his two employees who did most of the work. We did have some issues with dust/mess (some rooms that don't have hardwood floors weren't taped off/protected so the dust got all over the place), but by the end the floors looked great.
Mike and his crew did a fabulous job. He told me the work would take 2 days and it did. More importantly it was 2 consecutive days. Mike had to repair and splice in some new wood and the results were amazing, it looked like a brand new floor. Most importantly his quoted price was the "final" price.

Mike's team arrived promptly and got to work. The project of Robinson our downstairs maple floor was completed efficiently and neatly. I could not have asked for Artisan to do a better job. This job entailed sanding 450 sq ft of hardwood floors, adding matching flooring in the closets and bathroom, and staining and sealing. Mike and team were fabulous. They were very efficient, friendly, and no nonsense. I did not have to put up with the usual sales pitch put on by other contractors - Mike listened, made a few suggestions, and the job was done, and done well, I might add.
