I went to him he did a complete examination of my knee , after making sure that I understood the problem and the diagnosis of what surgery would be like he proceed to set a date and time. after surgery my family received all the information needed. I would highly recommend him to any one. I cannot say enough a bout him. me and my whole family was very very pleased
I was referred to Dr. Hess because of my previous trauma to my left hip. He did a anterior approach and it really worked for me. Im 3weeks post op and walking without a cain and back at work on light duty(desk) Great all around experience!!!! A++++

Dr. Hess is awesome, I had a total right hip replacement in December of 2018 and the procedure went flawlessly. My recovery was smooth and I have not felt this good in years, if you are in need of an Orthopedic Surgeon you cannot do any better than Dr. Hess!
This man saved me and my sons life. He is very easy to talk to and he explains things making sure you get it.
Dr. Hess always takes the time to fully explain the expected treatment and prognosis to the patient and caregivers. He sits with the family after surgery, reviews x-rays and points out areas that need attention. His staff is very attentive and helpful.
Dr. Harrod at B.R. Bone & Joint clinic recommended Dr. Hess to me for pain in my hips. When I first went he was so kind and friendly. After through exam he suggested I get an MRI. I was in such pain I was dragging one leg and using a walker. After the MRI results were in he called my husband and I to come in and discuss options. He had discovered large tumors on my ovaries. He said we would take care of hips AFTER this. Surgery was done. All clear. He was so genuinelly happy. Hip pain was gone.
