I was told Dr. Hess was the best around. They were not wrong. The office visit was awesome. Saw me on time and the staff were amazing. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hess to anyone needing surgery.

Dr. Hess is one of the finest doctors I've seen in my 94 years. Extremely talented and compassionate. He explained all steps of my procedure, and has been remarkable with my follow up appointments. An outstanding surgeon.

I fell and broke my left hip in early March 2020. I had broke the same hip about 8 years earlier and had a partial hip replacement done by another doctor. Dr. Hess recommended I do a total hip replacement this time. I spent about 5 days in the hospital then went to rehab hospital for about 2 weeks. I then had rehab at home for about 10 weeks after that. He is a great surgeon and did a great job of getting be back in shape. He and his staff were very professional and caring. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Hess and his staff are very caring in regard to patients. The staff is very courteous and efficient. The visit was to check on the healing progress of the left knee replacement. The knee is doing excellent and Iam finishing a period of physical therapy , now.
About 9 months ago I met Dr.Hess in the ER with a dislocated shoulder and misplaced fracture of the humerus. He was able to put my shoulder back in place and schedule surgery to put a plate with pens and screws for my fracture. Dr. Hess was able to repair it all and ordered physical therapy to keep the arm and shoulder moving. I saw him often and on every follow up visit he met me with a smile and positivity of my improvement. He is a wonderful Dr. , I fell and broke my hip the end of February 2020, he did an outstanding surgery with three pins inserted, small incision , he is one of only very few physicians in Baton Rouge that does this procedure. Recovery time was great went to rehab hospital then outpatient rehab. I wold definitely recommend him to anyone, Peggy
