My 78 year old aunt fell in Oct 2017 and broke her ankle. Dr. Hess performed surgery on her, and, despite the fact that she had very soft bones and also has rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes, he repaired her ankle beautifully. She had no complications at all and, after months of rehabilitation and physical therapy, she’s walking around as well as she was before the fall. I would recommend Dr. Hess to anyone. He was always kind and his staff were excellent as well. He’s the best!!!
I have had the most wonderful experience under Dr. Hess' care. After my arm/elbow was severely broken in an accident, Dr. Hess performed emergency surgery to repair it. He continued his exemplary care for me in the ensuing months through physical therapy, and into the next year when he removed the hardware/wires from my surgery. I have now made a complete recovery--my arm is completely back to normal, thanks to him. I wholeheartedly recommend seeing Dr. Hess for any orthopedic needs you have.
Our experience with Dr. Hess has been nothing short of a miracle. My brother had a serious accident with severe multiple fractures to his Pelvic area. He was flown in to Our Lady of the Lake Trauma Hospital in Baton Rouge and Dr. Hess was the one who performed the surgery on him. Six to Seven weeks later my brother is waking fine! Would highly recommend Dr. Hess!

I have already recommended Dr. Hess to my son who had serious hand injury back in 2012. I will recommend him to all my friends. My appointments have always been prompt, he is top notch in his field. He removed a plate and 13 screws in my arm due to broken humerus in 2014. My experience has been excellent. I will definitely recommend Dr. Hess.
Dr. Hess performed surgery on an ankle injury I received while riding my motorcycle in Ark. Him and his staff repaired my ankle and helped me through the healing process. Thanks to him and his staff, my ankle is doing great.
We have had two surgeries with Dr Hess and they have both been very successful.. Knee surgery with a destroyed knee cap was repaired with bars and screws but the leg is ok. . we were afraid that my wife would not walk but after 9 months even the scar( about 12 inches, is Disappearing. Her left elbow was crushed and similar results have been experienced. He is personable, encouraging and above all a fine surgeon. We wholeheartedly recommend him.
I am 69 and have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Hess . 2016 : Multiple breaks in my right hand and wrist. Excellent results !! I was back to nearly normal in 6 weeks !. 2017 : Broke my left elbow which had previously been broken and repaired when I was 12. This one was very difficult due to existing old fractures in bone. Excellent results again !! 2017 : Trigger thumb .. trivial ... zero issues. 2017 : He repaired a fractured femur for my 97 year old Mom in Law ... She is recovering very well!!
