Since the change to reqdirect wait times have been terrible. Going on 1 hour past appointment time for a booster shot. I have never been seen near my appointment time, usually take at least 40 min and then sit and wait for a doctor another 20 to 30. My family has been coming here for years, this is the last appointment, we have actually been going to urgent care for any illnesses as you can get in and out quickly, which is what you want when you are sick.
RecommendedMy husband has been going here and, I feel, receiving good care. He has high BP that we have yet to find something that stabilizes it. Today he was scheduled with Dr. Maratta because his BP was elevated and his kidneys had been bothering him. I told him to be sure to list all of his symptoms he had been dealing with because you never know what could be related. 10:45 a.m. appointment. They tell you to come in 45 minutes PRIOR to appointment time. Based on previous appointment experiences we arrived approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Finally called back at 11:48, over an HOUR past the appointment time THEY scheduled! Am writing this at 12:42 p.m. and STILL waiting for appointment to be completed. Arrowhead Health Center is the worst at communicating. I have been needing FMLA information sent to the insurance office. I saw the doctor on April 30, advising I need this sent in no later than May 6. I called on Wednesday for an update and requesting a call back. Nothing. I called yesterday and I requested a call back and it has been radio silence. This is frustrating and I have never had a office so terrible with communication. The doctors are great but the office can’t communicate well.
I had a physical last year and had my heartburn medication renewed for a years worth of prescriptions. PER BLUE CROSS requirement. This year I went to see Sutton in Surprise, and she only gave me two months worth of prescriptions. I was not told she wouldn't give me the year prescription or I wouldn't have gone to Arrowhead Health. I am told I would have to be seen again in six months, and I can't afford to go every six months. Now I must demand a refund.
My 75 year old mother was dismissed and then told she was going to die because of her medical condition ... no bedside manner what so ever!!!!
HORRIBLE customer service!!! I have left 4 messages in the past two weeks and no one has contacted me. I can't reach the Doctor or any of his staff. My surgery was supposed to be scheduled and I have heard NOTHING! This was an urgent need and I am SO frustrated! I haven't heard back from anyone. WHAT THE HECK??? I would NEVER recommend this company or Doctor!
Arrowhead appeared to be a clean, professional hospital and was recommended by a friend. My wife scheduled a knee replacement surgery around June for the end of November. Less than 7 days before surgery the hospital calls and demands a $2000 pre pay for the surgery. I realize doctors are out of touch with reality but money still does not grow on trees.
