I've been going to Dr. Donowitz since I was in my 30's. I'm 63 now and couldn't imagine going to another Doctor. I feel comfortable talking to her about any issues I'm having and she always listens not just trying to hurry you out of her office for the next patient. I'd highly recommend her for your health needs.

The decision to select Dr. Donowitz as our primary provider was one of the best decisions we ever made. She is knowledgeable, caring, problem-solving, a great physician. She stays on top of your medical issues and you don’t feel like you’ve been lost in the crowd. Her staff is kind, respectful and motivated.
She is a wonderful , dedicated doctor and a very caring person.
Dr Donowitz staff are unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. Her secretary never answers her phone and responds to VM with a 2 day delay. Unable to reach the office with any questions. Experiences like these are why people hate going to the doctor.
Dr. Donowitz is a fine doctor. This review has nothing to do with her. Her practice, however, is awful in almost every way. Ease of getting appointmnt: Abysmal! Ease of speaking by phone to nurse & secretary: the worst! Nobody answers the phone -ever! Calls are returned sporadically (Lord help you if you don't answer YOUR phone right away). Ease of finding her office or knowing the best place to park: Awful! CHI is huge -lots of buildings. Good luck. Looking for new doctor as a result.
Dr. Donowitz is an awesome Doctor! I would recommend her to anyone. She is very caring and has a great 'bedside' manner. She explains everything to your satisfaction. She never seems like she's in a hurry to get done with you, and is very thorough.
I profoundly appreciate the superior quality of healthcare that I receive from Dr. Donowitz. She is attentive, patient, answer questions, and provides superb clinical guidance. Having 39 years of experience at being 30 (69 years old), I have been blessed with several excellent primary care physicians in my life's journey. I believe Dr. Donowitz is, without question, the absolute best in managing my health care needs. I truly enjoy my periodic clinical appointments with her.
