So far my experience has been terrible and I haven't even arrived at the Biltmore. Tried making a resevation in the Octilla for a king bed. Recieved nothing but inconvenience and the run around. Nobody wanted to take ownership of a situation. Even the manager Pat acted as if I was bothering him. I hope my stay will be a better experience.
We had a wonderful lunch at Frank and Albert's. We introduced our waitress and bartender to the post prohibition cocktail, The Side Car. The perfect cocktail for Pro Bowl and Super Bowl patrons. We hope it is featured as a signature drink.
Went for a 2 day work event with my family of 4 (a fun working vacation is what I imagined). My room had a 19" TUBE tv... Seriously?! Do those even exist still? Especially in a resort? I haven't owned one of those since the 90's. The beds only had 2 pillows a piece.... Don't hotels usually come with 4 pillows per bed? That's a rhetorical question as I travel frequently and every hotel I've stayed in does... Except for this resort.
