Amazing place! They just rescued bunch of displaced dogs from the hurricanes. Every staff member and volunteer is upfront, honest and just incredible to work with. They highly vet their dogs and it's truly a wonderful place to visit.
We have been supporters of ARF for many years and will continue to be. They do great work and provide a fantastic resource to the community!
I adopted our new addition yesterday and I can't express more how beyond loving, affectionate, perfectly fitting he has been to our family already. Thank you guys so much. Wile E Coyote now Mambo already listens to his new name, loves to snuggle with us and just shows in every way how much he appreciates having a home and family. We love him thank you again.. We arrived a little late and missed out on adopting two adorable dogs. Both dogs were adopted by the person ahead of us. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable. My nieces who are 7 and 5 come here often and participate in special events. Next time we will be earlier!!! ✅

I got my sweet doggy here. All the people who work here are wonderful and make sure you find a pet who is a good fit for your you and your home. They also have great classes for you and your pup. I can't say enough good things. Most dogs I meet at the dog park are ARF dogs and they're all awesome.
Had the most wonderful experience there today. The cat I was going to adopt from a shelter in Sacramento was rescued and taken to ARF earlier in the week. I drove down today and they were amazing in finding her under her new name there, and helped me complete her adoption to bring her home. Big thank you to Ursula and everyone else who went above and beyond to make it happen.
I am so grateful for this place. I've adopted two excellent best friend dogs and many great training classes at ARF.
