RecommendedIt's a nice facility I used to volunteer at and the animals are well cared for.
The volunteers are knowledgeable about the animals there making sure you get a fit that is good for you. They were very busy but I was never rushed and felt I was able to visit with the animals for a good length of time. My Leila kitty is adjusting to her new surroundings but is warming up quite well.
We adopted a wonderful shepherd mix about 2 months ago. Now we are attending the basic manners class. I love this organization. Great staff doing great work!

Such incredible sadness, they leave wonderful dogs behind after saying they would rescue them from the Martinez shelter, seems ARF hasn’t improved over the years, citizens of Contra Costa County need to know!

Took my kitty (who was a stray we took in) to their spay and neuter clinic outside of Pet Food Express. They did an awesome job and for a fraction of the price quoted from my regular veterinarian! Really helps loving pet owners the affordability to be responsible pet owners as well.
