We have been shopping for a truck for almost a month now. Different makes, ages, etc. we called and spoke with Rusty and made the hour and fifteen minute drive to the dealership. My son really liked the truck, all seemed well so when it came to discussing price we were informed that they would not even take $2 off the price of this truck, because that’s not how they do business at their dealership. Our apologies that you feel you were mistreated. Most people have that attitude when they don't get what they want. Being a woman or the distance you drove to get here had no bearing on how you were treated. You made a false assumption that all dealerships have a huge profit built into their price and are willing to negotiate. You knew our price and you chose to drive here to make an offer. Had you made such a low offer over the phone, we would have politely asked you not to come.

I was in contact with Rusty from the dealership. Two separate times he advised me that the vehicle had been sold. I would then see it again on the website and call so I could drive to see it. My third contact with him he advised that they did still have the car for sale (again) and I told him I wanted to come see it. He said it was being checked for a check engine light and he would call me when it could be seen. Apologies for the confusion. Unfortunately, the original finance deal fell through. The buyer was willing to purchase it while we performed the necessary repairs.
