Tried to sell my truck. they told me itd cost them over $3000 to replace the timing chain before they could even sell it so they offered me less than 1000. as a normal customer getting the repair done it may cost that much but it would cost the dealership less then 500 to fix it since the pay their mechanics book time at $18-25/hr. This guy mustve thought I was an idiot otlr something. $500 to replace a power steering pump that is $40 at the part store and 20 minutes of time. sell you car on craigslist or Facebook. dont wast... read more
We bought a car through Apple Ford Shakopee in the past (and everything went well), so we decided to try to buy a car here recently. The salesperson was nice, but after we did a third party inspection, the car (that they claim had already been inspected) came back with a long list of issues - $2,000 in repairs. The manager at Apple insisted that the shop was scamming us (which makes no sense...they knew we weren't going to do the work there so they had no incentive to make up a bunch of issues) and he argued with every item ... read more

Craig in the Service department was very thorough on diagnosing problems with my vehicle. I had gone elsewhere 10 days ago for maintenance oil change. Vehicle acted up the next day, progressively got worse. I brought it to Apple Used Autos and I had a transmission leak, need tie rods and tires on front end. Vehicle was not even safe to drive! Spendy fix but I’d rather be safe than stranded on the freeway.
