Adorable, true country charm. Went on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately, 15k people were there over the weekend ! That said, please don't highlight honeycrisp is available when not. It's my fav apple type. Drove over an hour to get there. Even paid extra for the bigger bag. :( Someone should check at start of business day or night prior. Or, they should make it up to me in donuts or honeycrisps from your store. 😘
Business response:
Hi Heath! Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us. We are very sorry to hear that Honeycrisp were not available for your visit, and we apologize for not communicating that you. We are happy to hear you are a big fan of our apples and donuts! We hope you come see us again for Honeycrisp -- give us a call beforehand and we can give you a heads up as to what we're picking! :)
Holla!
Far too expensive for what you get... not very well organized... been going here for years but may need to travel to another orchard...
Business response:
Hi Megan! We are sorry to hear your experience was not what you anticipated. We have a large farm park for families to feed the goats, go through the corn maze and much more. Our goal is to provide you with a memorable, fun-filled day that includes some fresh off the tree apples. We are so happy your family has been visiting us for years and hope you continue the tradition. Thank you for... read more
I was very disappointed in this place. It's way too much money and everything is old. You have to pay for all the activities on top of parking and admission. You can go to elegant farmer and get a 30lbs buckets for $30 (No matter how many are in your group). Then 15 min before close I ask one of the employees if I need anything to get back in because my 4 yr old had to go to the bathroom and they said no. My daughter ran in and when I was trying to go in with her the girl stopped me from going in because my hand wasn't stamp... read more

Hi Kristina! We are so sorry to hear your experience was not what you expected. Our apple picking fee does include access to our Farm Park with an abundance of activities for you and your family to enjoy. We apologize for the miscommunication between you and our employee. If you would be so kind as to send a private message to info@appleholler.com to explain your situation, we would love the opportunity to make things right with you. Thank you for your feedback!
Let me start with a positive: waited until the last hour or so to have dinner at the restaurant which worked out in our favor because our group of five was seated right away. The waitresses were pleasant and the food was very good. Would love to eat here again, however coming from Chicago it's to far of a treck just for what was essentially a chicken dinner. Now onto the bad parts: 1: Not enough bathrooms to accommodate the amount of people coming on a weekend, you should not have to walk through the restaurant if you're not... read more

Hi Michelle! Thank you for reviewing Apple Holler, your feedback is very important to us. We are sorry to hear your visit was less than exceptional. Due to the high volume of visitors during peak season, we understand the frustrations that come with crowds. We do have a crowd management system who tries their best to keep lines moving as quickly as possible. We also have workers who regularly clean the main areas of the farm. We are sorry the apples you anticipated were not available and that you weren't dropped off at your ... read more
My husband and I went Apple picking here a long time ago. I thought the prices were expensive then, but it's way worse now. If you go Apple picking, each person HAS to pay for a bag. Maybe we don't want that many apples. Also, all we wanted to do was go Apple picking and nothing else. The price includes free admission to the farm and a hay ride. Again, all we wanted to do was pick apples. Why should we have to pay for stuff we don't want to do? My daughter was very disappointed.
Business response:

I this it's bs that each person has to purchase a $15 or $20 bag to be out apple picking, you just can't have a two yr old have an experience.

They have rules that everyone who walks in the apple orchard to pick apples, every person has to have a $20 bag of apples. So not worth it!! Waste of our time yesterday.
Business response:

Ok for the younger kids, but tweens not so much. It’s ok, not a big fan, probably will not return due to over pricing (charge double the regular admission over wknds), limited on grounds parking and don’t get me started on the restaurant’s molasses paced service and “buffet”. Brutal, just brutal.
Business response:
