I have a birthday party in Detroit and had to get a gift from their gift store for my mother. I got there an hour before the usual opening time, took a chance calling and these amazing people let me and my friend in to buy the gift they even had to open a register just for us. Every time I go to Apple Holler they make me feel like I belong there even when they are busy. Thank you for being you, you're all amazing.

This place has definitely gone down hill so I first went 4 years ago. Prices are ridiculous.

Business response:

Hi Olivia! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our farm, however, we're sorry that your experience was less than exceptional. Our pricing is the same as previous years, with the exception of a new 1/4 peck option for $15. The Apple Picking Experience package admission includes the orchard tour wagon ride, a picking bag that fits up to 7lbs of apples, plus apple tasting and access to our Farm Park. The Farm Park includes play areas, opportunity to feed the goats, a corn maze and much more. Thank you for taking the ... read more

I was totally shocked and disgusted at the water within the ducks pen. It was black. These poor ducks had no choice but to drink the mucky water. Sad.

Business response:

Hi Roxanne! Thank you for visiting Apple Holler! We appreciate your concerns about our ducks. We have a dedicated staff who are committed to providing the very best care for the animals on our farm. We can ensure you that they are given clean drinking water! :) We hope you return again soon for another day of family fun!

This place was way over priced. If all you want to do is pick apples you have to pay $15 for a 1/4 peck. Rip off. Sure it has stuff for kids but then you pay for sone of those things too. Also the place is poorly maintained.

Business response:

Hi Travis! We are sorry to hear your visit was less than exceptional. The apple picking fee includes the orchard (assortment, free tasting) as well as many play areas that are free of charge. With large amount of visitors, we work very hard to keep our orchard clean and up to date for all to enjoy. Our goal is for families to leave Apple Holler with a bag of fresh off the tree apples as well as a lifetime of memories. We hope you return again soon for a better experience!

Paying $60 for 3 people to pick apples is ridiculous I understand everyone needs their own bags but for $60 that’s a little much. Have been coming here for so long to bad they’re expensive now I’ll have to find a new place to take my daughter

Business response:

Hi Stephanie! We are sorry to hear your visit was not what you expected. Our apple picking fee includes the orchard (varieties and tasting) as well as access to our Farm Park. The Farm Park has a wide variety of activities for families to enjoy including multiple play areas, pony rides, a corn maze and much more! We recently added another apple picking option ($15 for 1/4 peck). Our goal is for you and your family to leave Apple Holler with a bag of fresh off the tree apples and a lifetime full of memories. We hope you retur... read more

If I could say 1 thing to make it better is to address the long lines to get in!!!! Put signs up prior to customers getting to the front of the line !!!! Knowing costs si while they wait they can plan what they want to do and have money ready . Also... do a winding line instead of lines that get all messed up and done moving faster than others .fir the price you are charging... you should get that more organized

Business response:

Hi Vikki! Thank you for feedback, our customers opinions are our first priority. We are very sorry to hear that your experience with the lines was confusing and unorganized. With the heavy volume of guests during peak season, we are working on an easier process for guests to be informed of pricing, and signs are a great idea. It is something we are definitely pursuing. We hope you return again soon! :)
