RecommendedApple in its self is a good company. Their geniuses at their retail stores are a different subject. They rush through the processes of actually helping you. I’ve experienced this today at the cherry hill in location. The tech who dealt with us was pretty much useless. I have a iPhone XR that was under water for about 3 seconds. The XR is rated for 30 mins up to 1 meter of water aka 1 foot and is stuck in boot loop now. Just bought my 3rd Apple desktop - an iMac 27” 5k. Had this been my first apple computer, it would be my last. For three weeks it’s crashed, frozen, had nothing but issues (multiple calls to AppleCare). Now it’s DOA and I’m looking at an extended time with no computer. If asked I would say stay away.

Hi, just got to know that my so called water resistance iPhone 11 Pro got water damaged just after two weeks of normal usage!!! The phone has never been exposed to water that could get into the Lightning socket and damage one of the pins (guy at the shop mentioned corrosion). I can understand if I handled the phone in a wrong way (no drop marks on the phone and with protection glass) it could happen, but maybe in a couple of months not just two weeks. i just washed my iPhone 11. in the washing machine. it went through the entire cycle—soap, deep water, rinse, spin—all of it. y'all, it still works! i can't believe it!! thank you, apple!
