MICE INFESTATION!!! I am so glad I got out of my apartment! The management is very unresponsive and rude. They are crooks that will nickle and dime everything! So do not expect to get your security deposit back. Unfortunately I had to bear living in an APM apartment for 1 year with a few unwanted house guests. APM is THE most awful property management company I've ever interacted with. My roommate and I spent a long time searching for apartments, and we found a very nice 2 BR apartment offered by APM. We tried to go through the paperwork, filled everything out, gave our security deposit etc, and had to get co-signers. Awful – Horrible customer service. Repairs never made. Calls never returned. Apartment not painted, cleaned, or repaired prior to move in. Bug problems. Leaks. Water damage. Mold all over apartment. Most frustrating company I've ever dealt with. Will never recommend and will never engage in business with this company ever again. Save yourself the agony and work with another company.

Really not that bad. – Well...I'm actually pretty pleased with APM so far (time will only tell if they will give me back my security deposit, however). I'm not sure if he works for the company anymore, but Steven was who we dealt with when we moved in and for a few months after. He tried to be tough about things, but we were able to wear him down...ie. we had him put bars on our windows (we're on the first floor). THANK YOU APM – I am currently renting an apartment on Pine Street through APM and had an issue with a sparking electric heater that short circuited and turned off our electricity. We called Cynthia's emergency cell phone line and got an answer immediately. Cynthia was nice enough to call their standby electrician to come and fix the problem right away (it was about 10PM on a Sunday night!) The electrician came and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Not easy to do business with..... – I tried to inquire about one of their listings. I did get someone to answer the phone, but they told me they could not help me. I was given another number. No one called me back. I went to the office and was not let in. I had to talk to someone through the inercom and they told me to call the same number I left the message on earlier. I don't tink I would want them as my landlord.

APM IS A GREAT COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH !!! – I read these comments below and i was very upset. I have been a tenant for 15 Years with APM ever time i had a maintence issue it was handled properly and timely. They even follow up with maintence issues. Also every time I call regarding my lease or any other issues i have, they get right back to me and answer all my questions. I am very please with this company and their services.

UNSAFE and TERRIBLE – I was going to rent an apartment in Center City from APM. I went to sign my lease and was informed that not only was I not allowed to change my locks, which obviously they would have been given a copy of, but that ALL of their employees had MASTER KEYS to all of their apartments. They didn't have a list of employees to show me, and didn't even know if they were all bonded. The WORST Place ever – They are terrible about getting back to you. All they want to do is lock you down on the lease. That's all they care about. We have leaks, the sink is not fixed, there are outstanding maintenance issues since December 2008. I will NEVER EVER rent from them again. They are not at all responsive for what they do. I will warn if you ever try to rent from them. It is not worth the headache for the rent prices they charge. I hope you never have to deal with this.
