Awesome hairdresser! Especially if you’re a guy with curly hair who struggles to find someone who can actually cut it properly. You won’t regret giving this place a try!
I was hesitant to leave a review because I did have a nice interaction with the staff, who all seem lovely. But the service was pretty bad. I arrived with an appointment and was asked to wait - which I did for around 20min. One young hairdresser did ask if I wanted anything but then I assume she forgot about it until I was asked again. Went in asking for a pixie cut and was so nervous to do the big chop… but WOW I could not have asked for a better result!! Jenni was so thorough during the consult, talking through the style and looking at my inspo pics. She kept checking in througout the cut, making sure I was happy with the length and shape. Love Jenni’s curly cuts at Aoki! I started going to her in 2024 because normal salon cuts would look great in the salon but I’d be frizzy at home. Turned out my hair was more wavy than straight and after 2 years of going to Aoki it’s now got a great curl to it. Would highly recommend if your hair is wavy or curly and you want someone who understands your curl patterns :-)
