Real fresh seafood, not the heated previously frozen or chain restaurant type.
I ordered the New England clam chowder and the flounder fish and chips. Clam Chowder was bland. I never add salt to my food and I had to for this and that didn't even help. The fish was so thin and left a bad after taste in my mouth. This was by far the worst chowder and fish I ever ate in my life.
Great seafood. Fresh daily. They have their own seafood boat 🚣. Amazing food but the staff is not friendly The locals are fabulous
Home from Texas for a week. Had to get my seafood fix. Steamers were so tender and delicious. Also had fried scallops. EXCELLENT. PERFECTLY COOKED. one suggestion, provide wet wipes for hands napkins are not enough when eating steamers. We asked for a wipe and got the type for wiping the table.
When I come back to visit Newport , I will return to Anthony's Seafood. Loved the food.
Great food, fast service, friendly staff and OH the food was great!
For those is us that aren't from this neck of the woods; the Stuffie and Portuguese Chowda will make you wish you had a place like this back home. 😋
The Portuguese seafood chowder and clam cakes are the best around
First time having authentic right off the boat seafood. Incredible!!!
