I just read that Anthony's is closing and am so sad....heartbroken even. It is the best restaurant ever anywhere on earth. Every time we have gone back to San Diego it's been my most definite go to place. The food and the service were always point on and I am truly sad to hear it is closing. We were hoping to take a trip in the spring of 2017 and of course going here for dinner, even lunch, was number one on the places we would have to go and now that won't be an option. Love Anthony's, we always bring our out of town company here to show them the best San Diego has to offer. Thank God the La Mesa location is still open!
Great service, great food, and great view for the boat light parade. They even turned down the lights for better viewing. My only complaint is Anthony's by the bay...will be closing at the end of Jan.'17...too sad for words!
Very loud in spite of inside seating, calamari was only mediocre, but the fish tacos were good
