Very sad they are closing! We all visit the place to eat nostalgia! Hope they change their plans and stay open...
My Marvin and I always went to Anthony;s every time we were in town. We really loved it and I cannot believe they are going to get rid of it, This just breaks my heart, if there was some way to save it.............They cannot put anything there that will begin to compare with Anthony's,
The food was incredible and the bartenders were great. If you are in San Diego, GO HERE. Tip: for best view of the ocean, eat in the bar section (tables by windows or at the bar)
So sorry to see Anthony's go. It's been a family tradition.
Food was not what I expected� the waitress was awesome but poor food quality �
Was very thankful to be able to make it one more time before they close. There was a sadness in the atmosphere. After a 50 year lease, they will have to shut their doors. Food was always delicious, beautiful and fresh.
