But you're divorcing my family!! We drive 6 hrs for your outside fishette and ambience on the harbor 2 or 3 times a year! Your lease is up and we are sad. La Mesa restaurant will not be the same as watching the boats and seagulls. Bye Anthony's! We have loved you for 20 years from 400 miles away and a tradition every time we came home to visit family! One last trip into town 2 days before you closed forever.
Really love it we used to take our boat for night rides and bay fishing always docking out back for quick bite it was the best#

I've been coming here since I was a little kid. We started bringing our sons when they were babies. Now we're all here for one last hurrah!!! The chowder was , is & always will be the best ever. I'm saddened to see Another icon go away, but thankful and grateful for having the opportunity.
My family and I have been going there since I was a kid. Before that my parents and grandparents were going there. Really gonna miss Anthony's.
I was Born and Raised in San Diego. Our Family would eat there a lot on Sundays after Church. I never liked Seafood but my all-time Favorite was the Fish and Chips, I could eat it everyday. I took my Daughter and Grandson there for there 1st and they sat us at the window so it was Perfect. The Fish and Chips was just as I remembered, Delicious. Sad knowing that they're closing in a couple days, cause the view and did is Perfect.
