Excellent place for outdoors people. Come ready with comfortable shoes and clothes, hat sunglasses, water. The view is simply beautiful, peaceful. Unfortunately there are also people who do not respect nature and the park regulations and walk on the poppies patches and jump fences only to have their pictures taken.

Was nice, but the beautiful poppies were further up the street. Lots of people, but amazing beauty.

So much fun to have the Poppies back in droves, it's been way too long❤️Best NOT to go on a weekend, and remember stepping on the flowers makes for less the following year. Please tread lightly.✌🏽😍

We witness men taking there dog he was cute and all but peeing on the path were people walk and on the flowers. To my disgust I even asked a lady as we were standing in front of a sign not to enter and her response was she just has to and other people are doing it and she did anyways because other folks were were the... read more

Loved the flowers. Make sure you get there early. We got there around 9 AM and the lot was already full. We were lucky that we were close to the entrance and decided to park along the street. The only downside of the trip was when we saw so many people disregarding the signs to get "better picture" of themselves. And forget about going to the bathroom. The lines were extremely long. I suggest having a pit stop before you get to the park. My kids loved spotting side blotched lizards and horned larks.

Seeing as California Poppies are my all-time favourite, how could I not love it???? Go a little later in the day for less traffic and stunning light for photos
