It wasn't too crowded. The bloom was really beautiful. It's really windy and cool so dress warmly if you go. It's a cool thing to see and worth it if you get the chance. Probably best to hit on a weekday. There are some wineries in the area as well that you can incorporate during your visit. We went to Agua Dulche to wine taste and out back they have some interesting animals to view.
A wonderful park for all of us. Great hikes, beautiful views. Don't be a jerk--stay on the trails and keep it nice for everyone.
The poppies were beautiful. We have some great pictures taken while we were on the trail. So beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend a morning hike. Cool and comfortable. The trails are not difficult at all. Staff was was friendly and helpful. Would love to go again.

I was visiting from Tucson, AZ and I found it very beautiful.
I brought my dog so I didn't go in to the reserve. There were plenty of poppy patches everywhere. Great day!
