About this business

Nestled in the Canton area of Baltimore,Annabel Lee Tavern is a local favorite named after a well known poem by the city's own Edgar Allen Poe. The cuisine is a level above the usual tavern fare, with mouth-watering dishes like the goat cheese fruit plate, pan seared duck breast, rosemary beef tenderloin gyro and a select number of gourmet desserts. According to some, the best part of their menu is the Poe themed cocktail list and variety of local brews. Whether you're coming here for a date with that special someone or just... read more

Thanks for another great dinner! I can't wait to come on Tuesday nights to hear the live Irish music. It is great to know that it is quiet enough to have a conversation but engaging enough to make the night as special as the menu from the 1800s!!

I was the only table in the back which is fine, 2 other tables came in after me and their order was taken before mine. My entree to go was taken to the bar and sat for approximately 15 minutes. I was there for a 1 hr and 10 minutes, had 1 drink 1 app and my meal to go. This was my 1st and last time here

The decor was quirky-cool, as you might expect from a Poe themed venue. The food was excellent. I had the Softshell Sandwich special with a pint of ale, and my wife had the Taragon Chicken Salad. The service was friendly and on point. The bartender, Amy, gave us details on weekly specials, and the hands-on owner, Kurt, checked on us and welcomed us to the neighborhood. We will be back soon, and often.

Amazing Food! So freaking good I make a point to go here every time I am even in the vicinity of Baltimore! Wednesday is “Lump Day” $5.00 off crab cakes which are one of the best you will eat! Also between 4-6pm you can enjoy $5.00 Duck Fat Fries! I cannot tell you enough how delicious these things are! OMG! You’re missing out if you’ve never tried them! This place has earned my patronage for Life! Great job!!!

Went here last night for my friend’s birthday. Just great. From the decor, to the food, to the atmosphere and staff. Highly recommend.
