Your Dr. Anthony Chin is beyond irresponsible. 80% of the world's men are intact and just fine. Over 117+baby boys die every year in the US from this barbaic, outdated cosmetic surgery. He can keep his opinions to himself and stick with the facts. His article needs to be retracted, unlike a penis.

Dr Chin, pediatric surgeon and director of surgical critical care, wrote a very one-sided article promoting circumcision and even comparing it to vaccination. He exaggerates the potential benefits, whilst downplaying the potential risks. But don't take my word for it... There is currently a pediatric surgeon at your hospital named Dr. Anthony Chin, M.D. Dr. Chin recently published an absolutely fraudulent article in U.S. News & World Report where he promoted forced male genital mutilation, fraudulently compared it to vaccination, and fraudulently claimed that it prevents a whole host of STIs which it does not prevent, and for which there are other prevention methods, such as condoms and vaccines, which are more effective and less invasive, making it a violation of medical ethics for physici... read more

Shame on any doctor who recommends genital cutting of minors. Proxy consent is only valid when there is a dianosis, foreskin is normal and healthy. This is just a way for these doctors, like Dr. Chin, to line their pockets, taking advantage of parents and violating their children. First do no harm, remember?

I am absolutely disgusted by the unethical lengths your hospital and doctor Anthony Chin are willing to go to to push Circumcision on parents. How much are you getting for the surgery and how much for the foreskins, i wonder? His recent misleading and utterly disingenuous work on the subject should be an article of shame for your hospital and yourselves. Awful that you let Dr Chin promote male genital mutilation and circumcision myths. The fact that his blog post is not backed up by any factual evidence or links is terribly disheartening. The American cancer society DOESNT NOT recommend circumcision to prevent penile cancer. No medical society in the world recommends circumcision on non consenting minors. Dr chins article is really irresponsible. How come European men arent having all these diseases Then? Pretty sure my doctor Would laugh if i told her we should cut my baby to prevent "foreskin infection".
