We actually love the care at lurie, but it is very expensive and it takes forever to navigate the automated system. We were charged $900 for the last round of blood tests. In addition, i had called to find out what time outpatient lab opens and was told 8:00am but when i got here i was informed they don't open until 8:30. An extra 30 minutes with a toddler can be challenging. My 4 month old daughter had a MRI here under sedation. The anesthesia staff, technologists and NURSES were amazing! I walked into the recovery room to see a nurse rocking and comforting my little girl after sedation and you could see it was very genuine and that she actually cared about my child. Because of this experience, I will take my children back to this hospital whenever the need arises.

We had our son assessed here and were happy, but now we are being told there is a 5-month wait for a follow-up. Why take new patients if you don't have room to treat them?

Un hospital exelente ami ni ña la diasnoticaron con meningitis ala semana de nacida y ase 3 años y medio gracias a los doctores y a dios eya está vien buen personal

Doctors, Surgeons,and Nurses are the best!!! Except for one nurse in the 20th floor named Dana W. She took advantage of my mother who does not speak English, she manipulated the doctors with lies. For example, she hid a chocolate shake and threw away a carrot shake and then told the doctors my mom was poisoning my brother with junk food, being the reason he was constipated, so then the doctors discontinued his pain med because they thought it was adding on to constipation, when in reality he was going to the bathroom all day... read more
