I was seen by Dr. Ankur Goyal in the Behavioral Health/Detox unit at Lakeland Regional during a very difficult withdrawal period. My experience was upsetting. I felt dismissed and not taken seriously while I was experiencing severe symptoms including shaking, tremors, and hallucination-like effects. When I reported my condition, I felt it was minimized rather than properly evaluated. I have been with Doctor Goyal for four or five years now. Everytime I leave his office I say to myself, "I love this guy, he is amazing." He works with me on the goals I want to acheive. He works with me finding the best perscriptions at a price that is within my budget. He cares about me and how I am progressing with my mental health. I have had upwards of 10 to 15 doctors in my lifetime and he is by far my favorite of everyone I have worked with. I highly recommend Dr. Goyal. Five Stars!
