RecommendedIt was extremely busy today and the staff kept apologizing but really if you think about it they are saving little fur lives. They did a great job fixing our Sophie girl up! So glad they are here for us!! Thank you
Unfortunately, we’ve had many visits to the AEC with our Maltese, Tucker. Fortunately, they do an outstanding job every time! Tucker has Intervertebral Disc Disease and Auto-immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia, which both come with a slew of other health issues. The AEC is always there to help during those after-hour emergencies. The staff is helpful, honest, and compassionate about the animals in their care. I feel so lucky to live in a community that has a facility like the AEC.
I JUST CAN'T SAY ENOUGH BUT THERE ARE NO WORDS GOOD ENOUGH TO SAY. THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE QUAD CITIES. WE BEEN WITH THEM FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS AND THEY HAVE TAKEN EXCELLENT CARE FOR MY LUKE.
Excellent care of my beloved Macy last night. It is always tough to loose a faithful pal like her. Staff was professional, and treated her with dignity and respect. Thank you for all you did!
I want to first start off and say how professional and caring they were to us and our puppy. And very knowledgeable. Amanda is an amazing technician. I would definitely feel comfortable bringing my animals here again if an emergency arises (we hope not) but if it does we will bring our animals here. We still don't know if Bruno will make it but we feel he was given the best possible chance and care he needed. Thank you very much to all the staff and all you do.
We’ve been here twice in a matter of a month with two animals and they couldn’t have been better to us! We really appreciate everything they did for our babies!
We had to have our little Oaklee monitored over night. I was super nervous since we’ve never had to leave him and he had emergency surgery that day. The staff was very loving and compassionate! Made me feel comfortable. Also when I called to check in they were informative and polite. I would highly recommend and I am a very picky fur momma! Thank you to all the staff last night!
We had to bring Gus our dachshund in on Saturday May 19th, due to a ruptured disk. All of the staff members we encountered were absolutely amazing. They were so caring and compassionate. I had to rush him the Iowa State University to have back surgery and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I knew where I was going and made sure I would have an easy check in once I arrived in Ames. I can’t thank you all enough for your quick referral I really believe our Gus will walk again some day !
They are amazingly helpful and treated my family with so much respect. Their staff was so respectful to our situation: my stupidity caused me to forget to get my dog's insulin before the pharmacy closed. Herky was seen quickly and got what he needed until we could get his prescription another day. Thank you for saving him and saving us too!
