My dog bear suffered from bloat last night and had to be rushed to the Animal Emergency Center of the Quad cities. From that emergency phone call, to the time i picked him up, this place was extremely professional and caring. When they saw me carrying my 90lb Akita across the parking lot, Dr. Hook and her excellent staff were already making there way outside with the stretcher to do everything and anything necessary to save my dog. I'm so thankful for the care received by Dr. Benge and his staff. We've been to this facility 3-4 times because I swear our pets like to have issues on Sundays. The staff are compassionate and our pets are in good hands. We were never pressured to do more tests that we felt were unneeded or to have them observed overnight which is expensive. The care my dog received post surgery was amazing. Everyone there is so wonderful and really caring.. I can't express how grateful we are for the care Oscar received.
I want to thank all the staff here for the wonderful care they provided to our baby Holly. From the urgent call I made to them, to our arrival and throughout the whole stay all the staff were professional and compassionate. Even though I'm an RN (for people ) I felt their diagnostics and treatment for our girl were spot on! And I'm glad to say Holly is doing great now! Thank you!!
They talk about wanting to help all and everyone.. that they will work with you.they have 2 financial aid programs that they tale donations for and yet turn away a 5lb chihuahua who has broken her leg because her cade isn't bad enough
We were treated with respect and professionalism during an incredibly difficult experience. Dr. Crow was informative and straightforward while also being sensitive and considerate. Support staff was also exceptional, including taking over relaying information to my Mom via phone when I just couldn't. If need arises do not hesitate to take your pet here for emergency care.
