Very knowledgable in his field. Knows the patient. Very caring
Dr.Verma has restored my faith in helping professionals. He and his staff treat me with more dignity, respect, and responsible care than any in my prior treatment, including other arenas of healthcare. He listened carefully before diagnosing or prescribing meds. What makes him particularly special: his knowledge and experience match his sincere interest in helping patients thrive. He genuinely remembers information while looking at me, not a folder. He explains things in anecdotal and personal ways. Because it is personal. I... read more
He is highly educated, kind and compassionate! He is my psychiatrist for several years now and I fully trust him. He is very easy to talk to and he explains my disease and diagnoses me well. I see constant improvement under his care. Now-a-days it’s very difficult to find a doctor who has time to listen to you but he is a very good listener. He is a wonderful doctor and I HIGHLY recommend him!

Dr. Verma could not take time to see me, even though appointment was with him, and I waited in office for 2 hours. Very bad practice

Once I was going through a very stressful time in my life, and I was able to call and schedule an appointment for the very next day to see him (I actuall... read more
Harvard trained. Bset in town. Saved my life. Very knowledgeable. Easy to talk to. Explained my suffering and disease well.
Dr. Verma did not listen to me when I gave him my history and mis-diagonoised me with Bipolar. I've been diagonoised with Major Depression since 1985, again in 1991 and again in 1998 to the present. Dr. Verma put me on Symbrax, which made me become suicidal. When I went to his office to try to get the medication changed, Dr. Verma refused to see me & had me see his nurse practioner (NP). The NP decided that I was suicidal despite the fact that I made a promise to myself in 1986 that I would never again attempt suicide. All o... read more
